Referrals

Do I need to be referred to your service by my GP or other professional?

You do not need a referral. We are an entirely private and independent service so you can contact us directly. In most cases, after your initial telephone call, our Clinical Director or one of our Senior Consultants will call you back to discuss your needs in more detail. We will then contact you to make an appointment. We are happy to advise on the suitability of referrals to our service.

All new clients are invited to attend an initial assessment appointment during which their allocated consultant will be able to establish in-depth details and history. Assessments usually take between 1½-2 hours and will be chargeable at the applicable hourly rate.

What happens if I am referred by my GP?

With your permission, your GP will contact us either by phone or in writing and provide details of your case, including your contact details. We will then contact you directly to arrange an appointment for you.
