Appointment Information
Who can join the consultation?
We understand that clients may be nervous or apprehensive on their first visit and we are happy for you to bring someone with you. Once here you will find our centre to be warm and welcoming and completely non-clinical. We do have a small waiting area where your companion may wait in comfort.
What if there are no appointments available at a time that suits me?
Our normal working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. We do offer some appointments outside these times on request. Consultants’ schedules are usually booked between 2 and 3 weeks in advance.
What if I need an urgent appointment?
We try to see people within a week or two and, under exceptional circumstances, we can sometimes offer an appointment even sooner. We always do our best to accommodate urgent appointments wherever possible.
Can you offer home or hospital appointments?
Some clients are limited in their mobility or cannot travel to our centres. We can meet clients in their own home or other agreed locations, but we will charge for our travel time and mileage additional to the direct consultation time for external appointments. If we have not previously met a client whom we are to see at home, we would ask for pre-payment by BACS (Bank Automated Credit System) and we may undertake a security check for the safety of our consultants.
What if I have difficulty with stairs or mobility?
We do not have wheelchair access and there are stairs in the Witney building. If you do have difficulties with walking or mobility, please contact us to discuss your particular requirements and we will endeavour to assist you, if we can.
